I saw the child again today.
My wife and I went to a party for a nephew. After a couple hours, I’d had enough and was ready to come back home. My wife wanted to stay and said she’d catch a ride with one of her sisters.
As I pulled into the driveway I saw the child beside the garage, walking away from me. I believe the child is a male and he was darker than his surroundings. It was dark when I got home.
A friend told me that dark apparitions are not good, but I definitely don’t feel a threat from this child.
Anyone have any input?

I’m curious about the Halloween props and wondering if they are connected. Where did you get them? Do they have a history? Or do you have some “new” object in the garage where this child ghost seems to be centered?
We got the props in various different places. We’ve put on a Halloween haunted house for neighborhood kids for years now, and we’ve gotten them over time. There are some new ones, but they are new as in not pre-owned.
I can’t think of any new object in the garage at the moment. Maybe something will come to me later, but right now, I have no explanation.
The child was in the garage the first time and outside the garage the second time I saw it.

As soon as I posted my last comment, a thought came to me. We DO have something (reasonably) new in the garage. Not new, but new to us.
I bought a used Jeep Liberty for my wife, because we live on a hill and winters here can be tough.
We got a CarFax with the vehicle though, and it showed the vehicle had never been in any accidents.
That’s the only new item I can think of at the moment.
