It’s now early Wednesday morning and this event occured Tuesday night, around 10:30 PM.

I had just gotten into bed and was fluffing the pillows and trying to get comfortable. My wife was in the living room watching TV with her cat curled up beside her. I tossed and turned a bit, trying to find that perfect position to fall asleep. I finally found it and layed still. I was perfectly still for about 10 seconds when something suddenly jarred the bed.

At first I thought the cat had jumped up on the bed and I glanced at the foot of the bed to see. I saw what appeared to be something small quickly dart off the bed, but it didn’t make the normal movement of the bed, like when the cat normally jumps off. Also, I always hear the cat land on the floor and I didn’t hear that last night. There was no movement of the bed at all and no sound.

To be honest, it was dark and I couldn’t tell if this ‘thing’ darted off the bed or ducked down at the foot of the bed.

So I got up, turned the light on and there was nothing there. I went into the living room and asked my wife if she was just in the bedroom and she said no. I asked if the cat was just in the bedroom and she said that cat had been right by her side for the last hour.

I know I saw something at the foot of the bed but I couldn’t make out what it was in the dark. But I definitely saw the movement and I definitely felt the jarring of the bed.

Oddly enough, this event didn’t seem to bother me at all, because I immediately went back into the bedroom, turned the light back off and went to sleep. It was a busy day and I was tired.
